Introducing DEIS: NZ's first unified data compliance platform

We are excited to announce the launch of DEIS, New Zealand's first platform purpose-built for compliant third-party data access.

The problem

NZ businesses access personal information from dozens of data sources every day — Carjam, PPSR, Companies Office, NZBN, credit bureaus, and more. The Privacy Act 2020 requires them to notify individuals and maintain evidence of compliance for every single lookup. Most do not.

Our solution

DEIS aggregates NZ data sources into a single interface and captures IPP3A compliance evidence automatically. Every lookup records:

• The data source accessed
• The individual whose information was collected
• The IPP3A pathway used (consent, notification, or exception)
• A timestamp and audit trail entry

If notification is required, DEIS sends it and records proof of delivery.
