DEIS now integrates with Equifax NZ for compliant credit reporting
Equifax joins Centrix as our second credit bureau integration. Run credit checks through either bureau with full IPP3A compliance.
We are pleased to announce that DEIS now integrates directly with Equifax New Zealand, giving you the choice of running credit checks through Centrix, Equifax, or both.
Why two bureaus?
Different businesses have different credit bureau relationships. Some have existing Centrix contracts, others use Equifax, and some use both to get a more complete picture. DEIS now supports both, so you can use your existing bureau relationship(s) without switching.
Setting up Equifax
- Go to Settings → Integrations → Equifax.
- Enter your Equifax subscriber credentials.
- DEIS verifies the connection and confirms available products.
Compliance is the same
Whether you run a credit check through Centrix or Equifax, the IPP3A obligations are identical. DEIS captures the compliance pathway for both in exactly the same way.
Comparing results
If you have both bureaus connected, DEIS allows you to run a check through both and compare the results side by side. Each check is logged separately in the evidence trail with its own IPP3A pathway record.
